Spot:  Cap Moderne, an architectural landmark in the sun

Cap Moderne is a unique temple to architecture on the Mediterranean.  Located in Roquebrune Cap Martin, many mythical architects have left their avant garde marks here.  Like the cabanas and cottages by Le Corbusier (1951-1957), the Etoile de Mer Bar by Thomas Rebutato (1949) and the first signature work by Eileen Gray and Jean Badovici, the mythical Villa E-1027 (1929).  The historical site will reopen its doors for the season on April 1 and as summer continues there will be guided tours as well as music brunches and dinners.
