Exhibition – Spotlight on Chagall

This exhibition highlights the artistic process of color master Marc Chagall, in black and white!  Through 130 luminous works produced between 1948 until his death in 1985, ceramics, sculpture and paintings are presented in this show which is installed in one of the most beautiful landmark mansions in Aix-en-Provence, the historical Hotel de Caumont.

“Chagall, from Black and White to Color,” through March 24, 2019, Hotel de Caumont, Aix-en-Provence

Place – La Maison de Marie in Nice

Located in a flower filled shady courtyard, La Maison de Marie is all about everything that’s “the South of France.”

Total serenity, have a seat on the terrace or the lovely patio, located just a hop skip and a jump away from the busy Place Massena.  The subtle warm decor was entirely renovated by architect Antoine Simonin (he studied with Andrée Putman) and his studio Asai.

Through the entryway, continue along the ochre walls and discover the contemporary cuisine, carpaccios, tatins, salads, bruschettas and “petits farcis,” delicious homemade local and regional specialties in a delightful atmosphere.
