Monte-Carlo

Celebrate the holidays in Monaco with the special family package at the Hotel Hermitage.  Two adjoining rooms, buffet breakfast for the whole tribe, and holiday magic - a fully decorated Christmas tree in your room (complete with a gift underneath) and snacks with Santa during his sled-stop at the hotel.  The package includes your choice of either Christmas Eve dinner on December 24th (in the French tradition) or a Christmas buffet lunch on December 25th.  In Belle Epoque style dating from 1896, the romantic Hermitage is a 5 star resort overlooking the marina and the Prince’s palace.  The Vistamar gourmet restaurant has a magnificent view of town as well as two bars and seasonal beach.  And to top off your special holiday, book an hour long photo shoot for 2, with professional photographer, champagne, macarons and red roses, for unforgettable memories.

Why do we love it?  The package includes admission to Monte-Carlo’s famous spa, the Termes Marins, with heated sea water pool, sauna, steam bath, solarium, Jacuzzi, and cardio fitness room with an awesome view of the Mediterranean!

Extra glow:  The Cercle Monte-Carlo card includes casino access, transfers and preferential rates for the golf club and tennis courts.

Rates from 600€ per room.

Saint-Tropez

Pan Dei Palais is a secret gem in the heart of Saint Tropez.  To ring in the New Year the hotel will host a special 5 course gourmet dinner with music (165€ per person).  The 12 room Relais & Chateau can be entirely privatized for friends and family, complete with spa, outdoor pool and the new chef.  During the holidays Saint Tropez celebrates the season with a skating rink on the Place des Lices square and fireworks on the port.  And Santa Claus always makes a grand entrance in Saint Trop’ … by boat, of course!

Extra glow:  this sumptuous mansion was originally built in 1835 and was the palace of Hindu princess Bannu Pan Dei, the Maharaja’s daughter.

Cap d’Antibes

A Cote d’Azur landmark, the Hotel Belles Rives was established in 1929.  For the year-end festivities the 5 star property offers a sparkling holiday package which includes double accommodations for 2 nights, buffet breakfasts, New Year’s Eve dinner for 2 in the acclaimed La Passagere restaurant, and a bouquet of Belles Rives roses (from 905€).  Additional hotel events include Christmas and New Year’s luncheons and afternoon tea, just like in the good old days!

Extra glow:  before the 1929 transformation, the Belles Rives was the Villa St. Louis and that was where F. Scott Fitzgerald would enjoy some of the best moments of his life.  The author wrote Tender is the Night here and the property also inspired The Great Gatsby.

Cannes

The Barriere Majestic Hotel is located on the Croisette diagonally across the street from the Palais des Festivals.  A 5 star luxury palace with recently renovated rooms and suites, as well as the Diane Barriere Spa with snow shower, Himalayan salt wall and, overlooking the swimming pool, a terrace cardio room with breathtaking Mediterranean views.  Right next to these facilities are two sublime penthouses (450 and 650 m2) with panoramic azure vistas.  The hotel has 3 restaurants, including the B Fire with inventive menu concocted by star chef Mauro Colagreco.

Extra glow:  Ask for the Melodie suite, a 200m2 apartment decorated by Nathalie Ryan.  Several scenes of the French film Melodie en Sous-soul (Any Number Can Win) were shot at the Majestic in 1963 and you can even attend a screening of the film in the hotel’s private 35 seat film library!
