1. Exhibition:  Cote d’Azur Garden Festival

 

 

The Rothschild Villa in Cannes, the Fragonard Villa in Grasse, the Gould Pinewood in Antibes, the Albert I Garden in Nice, all of these Riviera gardens will be transformed, welcoming some fifteen ephemeral installations created by international landscapers from March 30 to April 28, 2019.  An enchanted path in the garden along the Mediterranean shore…

5. On the Red Carpet: Monaco’s Rose Ball

  

Created by HRH Princess Grace of Monaco in 1954, the Bal de la Rose has since become one of the most glamorous affairs of the season, yet it’s also a charity event for the foundation which helps the neediest. 

 

On March 30 Prince Albert and Princess Caroline will preside the dinner, ball and show at the Sporting Club of Monaco that will end with a display of fireworks.

6. Event:  Printemps des Arts, Monaco

 

From March 15 to April 14, Monaco is rhythmed by the best of classical music. 

 

On the program, 22 concerts and 1 film – Ludwig Van by Maurio Kagel, gatherings and master classes, music in space, a surprise voyage (March 24 on a bus!), piano night at the Oceanographic Museum (April 13) and an homage to Beethoven with Bartok and Renaud Capuçon.

7. Place:  Omer, a Gourmet Odyssey

 

Alain Ducasse’s latest restaurant Omer offers light Mediterranean cuisine, savors and tradition. 

 

Adjacent to the Jean Mus designed luxuriant garden in which seating is available from March to October, located on the garden level of the Hotel de Paris, Omer revisits Lebanese falafel, Turkish dolmas, Greek style marinated sardines and mezzes, served in a nautical chic ambiance with sea view.

8. Exhibition:  the Maeght Foundation

 

An architectural and artistic institution in Saint Paul de Vence, the Maeght Foundation salutes twentieth century creativity with a show including 125 works and 80 artists. 

 

Arman, Braque, Kandinsky, Leger, Miro, Soulages, Giacometti, Garouste, Calder, Dubuffet, Chagall, Ernst, and so many more are celebrated in the shade of the parasol pines in the exposition “The Spirit of a Collection:  Gifts,” through June 16, 2019.
