Tell us about the French Riviera chocolates.


We created 3 chocolate bars, “Nice” and 2 “French Riviera” bars, a dark full bodied 72% cocoa, a milk chocolate and an intense dark chocolate with Guérande sea salt crystals. As a tribute to the Côte d’Azur, a magnificent destination, we decided to give carte blanche to 3 young illustrators: Axelle Debelt, Lionel Dauby and The Great PH. It’s an homage to images from the 60’s, Brigitte Bardot, to places where entire generations of French people vacationed. We want to widen the offer with a trio of mini French Riviera chocolate bars.



So what’s your Riviera story?


For almost 20 years I often visited Valescure, a town that’s inland from Saint Raphael. My grandmother had an apartment there, in a building that was a renovated luxury hotel, located on top of a hill with the Mediterranean in the background.



Your favorite shop on the Riviera?


A really cool concept store, L’Ampoule Bleue, in Sanary sur Mer, which showcases the best in fashion, design and food. And what’s more its location is idyllic!



Do you have any other Riviera projects?


After we open pop-up corners in Parisian stores (and before we open our own boutique in Paris) we would like to do the same in Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.



Do you use French Riviera specific ingredients in your chocolates?


We’re planning to create a line based on regional specialties, like Montelimar nougat and the famous calissons of Aix-en-Provence…
