Riviera Impressions at the Terre Blanche Hotel

How do guests react upon entering the hotel rooms?

The suites and independent villas of Terre Blanche Hôtel are like iconic "Provençal” homes, and we do everything to make guests feel at home.

How would you describe the sun at the hotel?

Sun gleams everywhere at the Terre Blanche.  During every season the sunrays slip between the pine needles.   Light and nature blend harmoniously, creating a welcoming and exhilarating atmosphere.

What are the best places on the property for admiring the sunrise and the sunset?

For appreciating dawn and dusk the best place is the infinity pool with 180° panoramic view of Provence’s countryside and the surrounding perched villages.  Here, sunrays can be enjoyed from the earliest hours to the last glimmers of daylight.

What is the best place on the property to catch some rays?

There are several choices.  There is the a grandiose setting at the infinity pool with breath-taking view, while the lush garden at the Terre Blanche Spa reserves a calm and soothing atmosphere.

Secret places around the hotel for guests to visit?

The Saint Barthelemy Chapel, built in 1638 on the Montauroux village hills, a national historical landmark since 1958.  For centuries it was handed down from owner to owner.  Christian Dior, the last owner, donated the chapel to the town in 1953.

The hotel in a song?

Wonderful Life by Katie Melua and Grace Jones’ interpretation of La Vie en Rose.

In a word?

In a fragrance?

Rosa centifolia, the May Rose.  An extraordinary harvest which happens at daybreak during the month of May, a flood of color in the fields like a picture postcard, admired by few it is an incredibly fragrant sight.
